Don Gorvett’s drawings of the Southern Maine Coast and Seacoast New Hampshire started in earnest in the 1990s. With drawing supplies aboard, he would beach his kayak on Wood Island and proceed to record its abandoned structure. Don made several drawing trips to the Wood Island Life Saving Station. The resulting drawings are exhibited along with his new reduction woodcut, Wood Island, Crescent Moon. Presented by the Wood Island Life Saving Station Association.
